La Vie Boheme Tote Bag
Cotton tote bag
When I was 4 years old I told everyone I wanted to be an artist. Lots of people laughed and said ‘you’ll never have any money then’, that didn’t stop me from loving it and pursuing art and design at college where art history became one of my favourite subjects. I became fascinated with the works of Monet, Cezanne, Matisse, Dali, Rodin and Picasso and their bohemian lives in Paris and where they drew their inspiration from.
I always sold my artwork on the side of my ‘real jobs’ which I never quite fit into. I was never happy unless I was creating. Whether that was writing, drawing, painting or photography.
When I got breast cancer at the age of 28 I quit my stressful job and finally went all in on my own business.
This bag is a nod to all the writers, dreamers and bohemians who inspired me and the streets of Paris where they followed all their own dreams.
A reminder to all the creatives to embrace the artist within and keep creating, your art makes the world a better place ❤️
